Media Center

Welcome to the Bramlett Elementary Media Center! We are so happy you are here!

This Media Center fosters a welcoming environment where students grow as readers, researchers, and digital learners, developing lifelong technology and information skills for success.

Hours of Operation

The Media Center is open Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 2:50 PM during the school year.

Student Checkout Guidelines

  • Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade: Students may check out one (1) book at a time after completing all library orientation steps.
  • Grades 2-5: Students may check out two (2) books at a time.

Books are checked out for one week. Students should bring all books to their weekly library class to return or renew them as needed.

Library Classes & Learning

Classes visit the Media Center each week to:

  • Enjoy a story or a lesson focused on library skills, research, or technology
  • Check out books

Parent Participation

Parents are encouraged to visit the Media Center and check out books to read at home with their children.

  • Parents may check out up to two (2) books at a time under their name.
  • Students are responsible for returning these books to the Media Center.

Overdue & Lost Books

There are no fines for overdue books.

However:

  • If a book is lost or damaged, students will be limited to checking out one (1) book at a time.
  • That book must remain at school until the fine for the lost or damaged item is paid.

We understand that accidents happen – please notify the Media Center if a book is lost or damaged.

“If I was a book, I would like to be a library book, so I would be taken home by all different sorts of kids.” – Cornelia Funke
